A Picture Day Your Office Staff Won't Have to Manage

Most school picture day programs create work for the front office before a single photo is even taken. Order forms have to be printed, sent home, collected, and chased down when they go missing. Money has to be gathered, counted, and tracked. None of that happens here.

Aayah's Photography runs the entire program for you. We arrive with our own backdrops, lighting, and props, so there's nothing for your school to source or store. On picture day, we photograph students individually, by class, with siblings, and staff if you'd like, working around your existing schedule rather than the other way around.

✓ No cost to the school, ever, at any school size

✓ We supply all photography equipment, backdrops, and props

✓ Works with your existing picture day schedule, no disruption to instructional time

✓ Families order and pay entirely online, we handle it end to end

✓ Built for small to mid-sized schools, not a big-box studio treating your school like a number

Built for Small and Mid-Sized Schools

We work well with schools that want a photography partner who knows their students by more than a roster number. Whether you're an independent school, a faith-based school, a charter, or a public elementary school with a smaller enrollment, our process scales to fit your school rather than forcing your school to fit a big studio's assembly-line process.

See the Quality of Our Work

These portraits give you a sense of the quality and care every student receives: individual attention, natural expressions, and professional retouching, all included at no cost to your school.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does school photography cost our school anything?

No. There is no cost to your school at any point. We provide all equipment and run the entire photo day at no charge. Families choose whether to purchase photos afterward, and that purchase happens entirely online.

Do we need to send home order forms or collect money?

No. There are no paper order forms and the school never collects or handles payment. Families receive a private online link after picture day and place their order directly through our ordering system.

What areas do you serve?

We photograph schools throughout the Eastside, including Bellevue, Kirkland, Redmond, Bothell, Issaquah, and Sammamish, as well as the greater Seattle area.

What equipment does our school need to provide?

None. We bring our own backdrops, lighting, and props for picture day. Your school only needs to provide a space, such as a gym, library, or classroom, where we can set up.

What size schools do you work with?

We specialize in small to mid-sized schools, from small independent and faith-based schools to public elementary schools with smaller enrollments.

How far in advance should we book picture day?

We recommend booking about 2 months in advance so your school gets a date that fits your calendar, especially during the busy fall and spring picture day seasons.

What if a student is absent on picture day?

We don't currently offer makeup days, so we recommend confirming your picture day date well in advance and reminding families ahead of time to keep absences to a minimum.

Do you provide yearbook-ready files?

Yes. Individual portraits and full class group photos can be delivered in PSPA format, the standard file format most yearbook companies and yearbook software already accept, so they drop right into your yearbook layout.

Do you offer class composites, the designed layout with every student's portrait arranged together?

Not currently. We provide individual portraits and full class group photos, but a separate composite design layout isn't part of our program right now.
