Maternity Fall photoshoot in Bothel
This gorgeous mama happened to be pregnant 8 months in just in time for the gorgeous Washington fall colors, her choice of dress colors complimented the warm fall colors perfectly.
With maternity photoshoots, I always make sure I document mama alone, highlight the bump and all the beauty of pregnancy, as well as take family photos with dad and the kids, then focus on just mum and dad. A new baby definitely can interrupt quality time between the parents, so I make sure I highlight all the love between mum and dad before the baby comes.
Siblings resistance
Siblings are not always excited for their photos to be taken, but with some prompts and patience, we can take candid beautiful photos even from the most uncooperative kids. Kid's like to be themselves and hate taking direction, I use a method that is more relaxed, allowing them to be them, with very gentle guidance so they can feel comfortable in front of the camera.
Best time for Maternity shoot
Maternity photoshoots are best taken in the 7th or 8th month when the bump is big enough but before mum is too tired. a combination of one fancy dress and one casual outfit works great for maternity sessions to allow for a large variety in the final gallery.
And don't forget if you are also planning to do a newborn photoshoot once the baby comes you should book it now not after the baby is delivered.
